As Sustainability Sherpas, we have many tools, frameworks and methodologies at our disposal to help our clients activate sustainability in their organizations. We’ve journeyed up and back down this mountain many times, and we’ve found our clients go furthest on their paths to sustainability when they combine strategic action with collaborative learning. As a result, we offer services designed to facilitate each.
To develop a strategy, you must have a desired outcome. With experience and knowledge of the journey to the mountain peak, we can facilitate the conditions for your organization to envision itself in a sustainable society. We will ensure that your direction will be effective and steer you clear of any crevices.
With a sustainability vision in place, we can support the creation of action planning in service of your vision and strategic goals. We are also able to support specific projects to support your sustainability vision (e.g. environmental assessment, carbon quantification, marketing and communications, etc.).
We have the tools to embed sustainability either as a third party collaborator or internally as an employee of your organization. We can act as your Sustainability Sherpa/Steward/Officer in creating visions, strategies and tactical plans from a thought-leader perspective, and can be structured as an “internal employee” of the company if desired. Ultimately, we steward the movement towards sustainability within your organization for you, together with you.
Certified B Corp is the future of doing business for good. Many companies believe in the movement of B Corp but lack human resources to make the leap. We support companies through the certification process along with B Lab (certifying body) and support sustainability strategy immediately following certification. We help companies leverage B Corp to become better companies over time, beyond simply the rubber stamp.
Advancing the leadership and development of your company requires an advancement of the leadership and development of the individuals, especially those in leadership roles. This can be especially noticeable when trying to breakthrough change initiatives, including moving towards sustainability. No matter what your challenge is, if you have are ready to have personal breakthroughs and elevate your leadership, we have a certified Integral Associate Coach to support you or your team in a one-on-one format. Coaching programs typically span a 6-month time frame (up to 12 months).
Spiral Table is a program dedicated to developing mastermind groups for sustainability champions big and small. We take 6-8 people from similar industries and/or seniority and/or organizational roles, and put them together in a monthly, facilitated dialogue dedicated to solving problems and conquering the complexities of sustainability. Think of it as the ultimate collaborative leadership development program in sustainability and the new economy – and everyone’s an instructor!
Often organization’s get stuck considering strategy and action within their Boardrooms and, in doing so, they lose the opportunity to access the strategic wisdom that’s available from organizational stakeholders (e.g. suppliers, customers, employees, etc.). We are avid believers in the power of integrating stakeholder perspectives into an organizations decisions and are practiced in doing so. The methodologies we employ support facilitation of conferences and/or large groups where dialogue and collective intelligence are desired (largest facilitation to-date is 350 participants).
