Off the heals of an amazing couple weeks of travel (Portland for Organicology and Vancouver for CHFA West) we are once again packing our bags for another great adventure. This time, we are headed down to Anaheim, California for New Hope’s annual conference and trade show – Natural Products Expo West.
This year, we will be helping facilitating two workshops at the conference- Working Together Toward a Good Food Future: Presented by Esca Bona and The Sky’s the Limit: Disrupting Packaging Culture Through Collective Action.
Working Together Toward a Good Food Future takes place on Friday, March 8th from 10am-12:30pm. This session is collaborative and interactive as we tackle the three pillars required to grow the good food movement: infrastructure & supply, food access, and increasing the nourishment provided by the food we eat. You can expect expert thought-leaders storytelling and helping to guide dialogue, collaborative group breakout sessions, and a lot of creative and innovative idea generation. These sessions are ALWAYS an incredible time, and the harvest we come away with is truly impactful.
The Sky’s the Limit: Disrupting Packaging Culture Through Collective Action is a summit for leaders who want to embrace the transformation of the conventional packaging ecosystem through the power of collective action. Together we will identify the most critical blockages, potential fixes, and resulting collective action that would help reverse the unintended impacts of our packaging system. This session is happening on Wednesday, March 6th from 1:30pm – 3:30pm. (Registration for this workshop is now closed, but please get in touch if you need to be there)
